Warm or cold weighted blanket - which one should I choose?
SensoLife is regularly asked about the difference between our blankets and their heating level.
In this article we will explain which blankets belong to warm blankets, which – to cold ones.
Generally, our blankets are different visually, but their therapeutic use is the same.
If you're usually hot, you might want to choose a weighted blanket without extra lining.
The coldest blanket is the SIMPLY blanket. It is a 100% cotton blanket, breathable and top quality. This blanket, apart from the weight pad, has no insulating layer on the inside.
In addition, FLANEL, CALMA and PREMIUM blankets are also without special insulation. These are blankets that feel pretty cold.
ELEGANT, FUN and DOUBLE MINKY blankets are also without thermal insulation. Minky material, which is used in these blankets and is very delicate, however, it makes this blanket slightly warmer than SIMPLY or CALMA blanket. However, these blankets are used without extra cover, they also have a decorative function.
The blankets with extra heat insulation inside are JOY, DELUXE, DOUBLE FUN and CLASSIC. The insulating layer is quite thin and gives the blanket only extra thickness, softness and a little warmth. However, these blankets are not very warm and are not extra insulated.
If you are a person who is always cold, it is nice to use a warm duvet cover with the blanket. We have two types of warm duvet covers: a plush and a velvet duvet cover. A good solution is to use a simple blanket in a cotton cover in summer and a plush cover in winter.
